A HUGE THANK YOU to those of you who turned out last year, I can’t remember when we have ever had such a huge crowd at the Carnival and with such fabulous weather. I do hope you all managed to enjoy yourselves and make a good profit for your organisation. Thank you for supporting the Copthorne Village Hall raffle.
Stall size & prices
- £50.00 for a commercial pitch
- £22.00 for a charity/non-profit making pitch

Timings
Set up between 09.30 & 12:00.
On arrival please speak to a member of the carnival committee who will show you where to set up your stall.
STRICTLY NO vehicles on the green BEFORE 09:30 and AFTER 12.00 noon.
As in previous years a risk assessment of your stall will be carried out in the morning, please see attached 5 Step Risk Assessment for guidance.
We will have a prize again this year for the best dressed stall to try and promote the theme, “America” so dress up that stall and join in the fun, your stall could win you £50.00. If you wish to have a stall at the Carnival would you please complete the attached form indicating how many pitches you require and if you have any special requirements. Stall prices will be £22.00 for a charity/non-profit making pitch (3m x 3m) and £50.00 for commercial pitches (3m x 3m). As in previous years a risk assessment of your stall will be carried out in the morning, please see 5 Step Risk Assessment for guidance.
We reserve the right to decline applications, you will be notified accordingly.
It would be much appreciated if all Stallholders could be responsible for clearing away their own rubbish. Please remember that if you are giving alcohol as a prize, it can only be won by people over 18 years old; please refer to Challenge 25 information attached.
Finally, please do not bring/use disposable barbecues on the green during the day or the evening.
Please make cheques payable to Copthorne Village Carnival Club and note that all bookings should be returned by 23rd April 2011 latest if you wish to be included in the programme.
